A full programme of events to mark this special weekend:

As you know on Saturday 3rd September we’re holding a Flower Festival in Church with refreshments in the hall from 10am to 3pm. Donations are going to our charity of the quarter – Southend in Sight. Flowers and cake – a winning combination

Sunday 4th September we will be celebrating our Patronal Festival with an all age Eucharist service at 10.30am.

We will also be talking about our new monthly Family Service called ‘Xplore’. So, if you want to find out how to put a skewer through a balloon without popping it – or using Sellotape – do come along. There may also be cake!

Our celebrations on Sunday conclude with a Songs of Praise Service at 4.30pm. No TV crew but lots of beautiful hymns to join in with – maybe leftover cake?
