Once again we have closed the physical building of St Mary’s Church in line with Essex Health Department and Church of England recommendations.
Although we can’t hold Christmas services in our traditional way we will still be able to welcome visitors at this special time of the year. Like everyone in 2020 we have adapted and hope to see you over the Christmas period.
Sunday services will be non-eucharist Family Services at the current time. You'll be able to follow it on Facebook and you can download the Order of Service via the following link:...

A familiar service for many and a wonderful way to start the week, we’re now holding Evensong following the Book of Common Prayer at 6pm on the 1st Sunday of the month.
We’re back in Church operating within social distancing and other Covid 19 requirements and have made some changes to our Services as a result.
St Mary’s will be able to re-open soon for Private Prayer.
With St Mary’s closed, we’d recommend a trip to the Diocesan website to their Holy Week at Home Resources. https://www.chelmsford.anglican.org/holyweekathome.
With the suspension of all Church Services, St. Mary’s is working creatively to stream services to you via Facebook Live and YouTube.
